Ten Toronto Patios you need to visit ASAP!

Now that patios are (finally) open again in Ontario, we’ve made a list of some of our favourites in Toronto! Instead of eating takeout in your sweats, we welcome back fashion, makeup and yes - socializing on the best outdoor soiree spots you can imagine. Whether you’re travelling internationally to a swoon worthy destination or not, each of these will give you a taste of normalcy we’ve all been dreaming of.

1) ONE Restaurant

116 Yorkville Ave, Toronto, ON

Located in the Hazelton Hotel, ONE Restaurant’s tree-lined patio is one of Yorkville’s best patios. Featuring cuisine by renowned chef Mark McEwa, the contemporary French / American dishes provide the perfect opportunity to sip, dine and relax.

2) Terroni

1095 Yonge St, Toronto, ON

Terroni, the city’s most infamous traditional Italian restaurant opened this rooftop patio in the heart of Rosedale, and since then - it continues to be a sure fire hot spot. Taste the scents of Italy in this divine setting and escape from Toronto’s downtown core for the perfect date night. You can’t go wrong ordering their pizza or pasta (but note - they are strict on their no substitution policy, oh and they don’t cut their pizza ;)).

3) El Catrin

18 Tank House Lane, Toronto, ON

Located in the Distillery District, El Catrin has the best authentic traditional and modern Mexican cuisine in Toronto. Nestled in the heart of the cobblestone pedestrian only streets, you can lust over their tequila and mezcal collection - the largest in the country! With that being said, you HAVE to try their margaritas!

4) Drake Sky Yard

1150 Queen St W, Toronto, ON

Another rooftop destination, The Drake Sky Yard patio is located on the roof of the Drake Hotel. Effortlessly chic, yet lowkey, this trendy restaurant/lounge/bar gives you any reason to stop in whether it be for weekend brunch, an after work cocktail or anything in between!

5) Gusto 101

101 Portland St, Toronto, ON

Gusto 101 serves southern Italian classics with a global twist, and we’re personal fans of the kale salad (this is an absolute must-have). Between their rooftop patio and their street level patio you’re sure to get the true Italian dining experience with their woodfired oven for pizzas and wine tastings on tap! For anyone in the downtown core - this is a must-visit destination.

6) The Rooftop at The Broadview Hotel

106 Broadview Ave, Toronto, ON

Can you tell we’re fans of rooftops? The Rooftop located in The Broadview Hotel has one of the best views of the Toronto skyline in the city! Just east of the downtown core, you can feast on their rustic, locally sourced menu items including southern Ontario produce, while taking in the breathtaking spectacle that is our beloved Toronto.

7) Figo

295 Adelaide St W, Toronto, ON

Figo, a downtown staple, offers Italian inspired cuisine in a stylishly elegant setting in the heart of the entertainment district. They are known for their house-made ricotta, wood-fired pizzas, and made-from-scratch pastas - and if we must say, Sicilian approved pizzas.

8) Baro’s Rooftop Patio

485 King St W, Toronto, ON

Located on the 4fth floor of Baro Toronto, Baro’s Rooftop Patio serves creative Latin dishes & cocktails. You can grab a pitcher of Sangria to share with friends and enjoy the view of King Street West.

9) Bar Reyna

158 Cumberland St, Toronto, ON

Bar Reyna has to be one of our favourites - hidden in the heart of Yorkville, the back patio is quite literally a hidden gem both in ambiance and in cuisine. Their mediterranian menu is a culinary adventure prefect for anyone who has a soft spot for European destinations. It’s a small spot - so be sure to book in advance because they are always packed!

10) KŌST

80 Blue Jays Way 44th Floor, Toronto, ON

Perhaps the best view of the CN Tower Toronto has to offer, Kost sits atop the Bisha hotel with a perfect poolside experience and views of the lakefront. Open for breakfast, lunch, midday snacks and dinner, Kost has become a go-to destination for lounging, dining and socializing throughout the summer season.
